4 types of essential oils

Classics: The majority of our essential oils are obtained by complete steam distillation. The chemical constituents of the volatile oil obtained are then tested in the laboratory to obtain before the oil is bottled.
Mixtures: Our essential oil blends are carefully prepared to create perfumes that are 100% natural and balanced. They are intended for cosmetic use and can even be used in diffusers to create a pleasant environment.
Dilutions: Occasionally, due to the strength or the cost of an essential oil, it is diluted with an odourless base oil. The percentage of essential oil content in the mixture is always clearly indicated on the label (often 10%).
Absolutes: The absolutes are chemically extracted, they are then washed to remove any chemical traces. Essential oils are often extracted in this way because of the difficulties encountered with the steam distillation method that would make the resulting oil cost prohibitive. Many of these oils are then diluted (see "dilutions").

Please note that the International Federation of Aromatherapists do not recommend ingestion of essential oils except under the supervision of a physician who is also qualified in clinical aromatherapy. In addition, Essential oils must be properly diluted before use, to prevent damage to property or adverse physical effects (including injury or bodily harm).

Large or small?

As with fruit and wine, the colour, fragrance, and flavour of natural cosmetic ingredients can vary depending on a number of factors. Olive oil can be mild or full-bodied, light or dark green, for example, and that’s true for many natural products. We suggest you begin by trying our smallest sizes.
